Aware. Educate. Empower. BAN is a public-awareness campaign centred on informed choices, safe communities and the potential of young people.
Why this campaign exists
Public awareness has greater value when people know what to do next. BAN brings the conversation into spaces where young people study, meet and take part in community life. Our approach combines accessible information, constructive participation and encouragement to seek qualified help when needed. We avoid labels that reduce a person to a problem.
Our purpose
We want young people to feel able to choose healthy opportunities, speak to someone they trust and stand beside friends without judgement. Families, educators, sports communities and local organisations each have a role. The campaign creates opportunities to collaborate while recognising that clinical assessment and treatment belong with qualified professionals.
How we work
Our planned activities include youth awareness sessions, campus participation, public pledges, cultural expression and community volunteering. The summit is an entry point; ongoing campus action is intended to keep the conversation active. We distinguish plans from completed work and publish confirmed announcements through our updates page.
