An ambition that calls for everyday action
Mission 2028 expresses the campaign’s aspiration for Telangana. It is not a guarantee or a measured statement that a target has already been reached. Progress requires cooperation, reliable information and consistent follow-through across communities. BAN’s role is to support awareness and create practical opportunities for participation.
Start with an informed community
Our first priority is to make useful information easier to discuss. Campus teams can host learning sessions, share trusted public resources and help peers identify appropriate support pathways. Activities should be reviewed by an institutional coordinator and should never ask students to diagnose, investigate or publicly identify other students.
Build participation that lasts
A pledge has value when it becomes a habit of action. Teams are encouraged to plan manageable activities, record attendance without collecting unnecessary sensitive details and reflect on what people found useful. The 90-day challenge offers a starting structure for this work.
Measure what we actually do
Proposed measures include sessions delivered, participating institutions, volunteers trained and completed follow-up activities. These are participation measures, not proof of changes in substance use. Verified results can be published after organisers review records and permissions. No impact totals are presented before they are available.
Be part of the mission
