Awareness resources

Reliable information supports better conversations. Start with established educational sources and seek professional advice for individual health concerns.

For young people

Questions deserve clear answers. Use educational resources from recognised health organisations instead of relying on forwarded claims or social-media anecdotes. If you are worried about yourself or a friend, approach a trusted adult or qualified health professional. You do not need to explain private details in a public campaign form.

For families and educators

The US National Institute on Drug Abuse provides resources for parents and educators and information about prevention research. Use these as learning material, while consulting local professionals for services and advice relevant to your circumstances.

Understand support and recovery

NIDA’s treatment and recovery overview explains that treatment can help people manage substance-use disorders. Individual care should be discussed with a qualified clinician. BAN does not prescribe treatment or offer an online diagnosis.

Share responsibly

Before sharing a claim, check its publisher, date and evidence. Avoid images that humiliate people or imply guilt. Never publish another person’s personal story, photograph or contact information without appropriate permission. Awareness should make it easier to ask for help, not harder.

Campaign materials

The supplied summit poster is available on the event page. Its original artwork refers to a walk; the current written programme uses a group cycle ride. Refer to the latest organiser instructions for activity and route details. Adaptations or third-party use of the campaign identity should be agreed with the event team.
