24 October 2026 · 7:00 AM–12:00 PM · People’s Plaza, Necklace Road, Hyderabad, Telangana.
Choose life. Choose freedom.
The BAN Drug-Free India Youth Summit brings students, parents, educators, sports communities, NGOs and prospective partners into one morning of awareness and action. Planned programme elements include expert awareness sessions, youth cultural action, a mass anti-narcotics pledge and recognition for participating youth, institutions and volunteers.
Cycle ride with Telangana Cyclothon
The current programme includes a group cycle ride in place of the previously advertised walk. The organiser will communicate the approved route, assembly point and rider instructions separately. Do not assume a road route is final from the poster. Riders should follow the instructions issued by the ride coordinator and traffic authorities.
What else is planned
The poster announces Fitness for Freedom, Real Stories, Real Hope, a help and referral desk and the BAN Drug-Free Campus Challenge 2026. Speaker names, service providers, desk arrangements and the final running order will be announced after confirmation. Sharing personal experiences is voluntary; no participant should feel pressured to share a private story publicly.
Who can register
Individual adults, campus coordinators, family representatives and group leaders can send an expression of interest. An adult parent, guardian or authorised institutional coordinator should submit on behalf of anyone under 18. Registration is an enquiry and does not by itself confirm a place, transport or any entitlement.
Before you attend
Check the latest organiser communication for arrival instructions, weather-related changes and accessibility arrangements. Carry drinking water and follow venue guidance. Group leaders should keep their own attendance and emergency arrangements. The website does not collect medical details or identity documents.
From one morning to 90 days of action
The summit introduces a proposed campus follow-up programme built around student ambassadors, faculty coordination, healthy choices and continued activity. Institutions interested in joining can use the Campus Action Challenge page.
Event poster
The original artwork refers to a walk. The current programme above replaces it with a group cycle ride.
